Ombré Gallery specializes in contemporary art jewelry by artists and metalsmiths across the United States and around the world. Our mission is to exhibit innovative works using both traditional and non-traditional materials, techniques and subjects, while serving as a conduit to highlight the relationship between art, craft, fashion, and design.    

The gallery’s director, Jenna Shaifer, received her Masters’ in the History of Decorative Arts from the Smithsonian Associates/Corcoran College of Art + Design program in Washington, DC. She has worked with numerous museum curators and gallerists and institutions such as the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, the Oakland Museum of California in Oakland, California, and Jewelers’werk Galerie in Washington, DC. Prior to receiving her Masters, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University in Fashion Merchandising and worked for 12 years in various production, licensing, and product development positions for designers and fashion houses including Donna Karan New York, Isaac Mizrahi, Polo Ralph Lauren, Ann Taylor, and Talbots.
